From sketching and painting in a traditional style, to creating vectors digitally, I have always had a passion for illustrating.

Welcome to the world of drawing & painting

Traditional Media

For as long as I can remember, I was drawing and creating things whenever I could. Whether it was enjoying every last second of an art class, or doodling on my homework assignments with a pen or pencil.

As I got older, I loved to experiment with what medias I used to create things. Moving anywhere from charcoal, to colored pencils, to oil & chalk pastels.

This then went into the world of painting, which I have used every sort of medium you could think of! My favorite to this day would have to be gauche.

Digital Artwork

This changed my world when I started to transition into digital media. It was a challenge at first to grasp, and a bit of a learning curve, but I will never look back!

I primarily work with the Adobe Creative Suite, mainly using Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for my day-to-day projects.

I have used these applications for purely digital resources, like social media and website graphics. I have also created things made for print, such as brochures and posters.

Mixed Media

Getting the chance to mess around with the art I create and experiment with different mediums is one of my favorite things about being an artist.

This style shown is hands down one of the most fun ways to handle a portrait, and get creative with different paper styles and textures. Of course, after all of this, my favorite step in any project, using ink and line work!

Another bonus to wanting to learn every type of art style possible, is the fact that I love printmaking! Not only the actual look of it, but the act of carving, and the history that it has!
