Who Am I
My name is Mya VanHoosear and I currently live in Shelby Township, Michigan. For those unfamiliar, it is about 40 minutes north of Detroit!
I graduated from the College of Creative Studies with a degree in Illustration. I work remotely with a Kalamazoo business called Village Oak Creative, and do freelance on the side.
World Traveler
I am in love with traveling and want to see as much of the world as possible! Whether it is going to the next state over, or taking a 12 hour flight across the globe.
One of my most fond memories is when I went to Italy and Greece with some high school art friends and got to see so many remarkable landmarks and historical artworks.
Concert Lover
If there is a band or artist that I know and love that is going on tour, you can bet I will be there!
I have a pretty wide variety of music taste, and have gone to a range of concerts, including, heavy metal, classic rock, rap, and k-pop.
Some of my favorite concerts, in no particular order, are Metallica, Ateez, System of a Down, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
All Things Spooky
I have been obsessed with Halloween for as long as I can remember. Between the costumes, decorations, and overall concept, I love it all.
Fall in general is one of my favorite times of year. The cozy weather, the leaves changing, and the cider mills are just some of the things I get to enjoy every year.
We also can’t forget about the renaissance festival!
